Hey mentors!

The second term of this semester has just started and with so many holidays the past two weeks, we hoped you all did have time to relax and chill before the start of school!

And yes! Coming to the main (BIG) point, our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
This is a COMPUSORY event with CCA POINTS AWARDED! (Cheers!)

By now most of you guys should have heard about our upcoming AGM by your center heads/facebook/twitter and for those who have visited our blog before.

Here are the teeny-tiny details that we all should know!
Event: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
Purpose: To know about the past events and also the upcoming events planned for Mentoring! Also to introduce our new new new lovely Committee! <3
Date: 13 January 2012
Time: 6.30pm (Do be punctual!)
Venue: LT 79 (LSCT Block aka Block 83)
Attire: Mentoring shirt, jeans and covered shoes!

Yay! Today's the last day on the CTs, and I believe everyone wants to go out and celebrate right? Well, fret not! Mentoring has got 2 upcoming events where the fun is just too much to measure! ;)

That is the End of Year Party and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

1. The End of Year Party will be happening on the 29th December! It's the first time Mentoring has End of Year Party! How cool does that sound? :D We have planned some fun filled activities for all of you to enjoy, and rest assured that the party is during the holidays! ^^

Details:
Date: 29th December 2011
Time: 12.30pm to 8.00pm (12.00pm will be the meeting time for mentors who do not know how to reach the venue, we will fix a certain place and our friendly mentors will bring you there! ;))
Venue: TBC
Attire: Casual (Do note that we will be playing water games so make sure to have the right attire! ^^)
Things to bring: Water bottle, one extra set of clothing (Likewise, the extra set of clothing will be important since we will be having water games, do take note!)

Lunch will not be provided so do have your lunch before you come! :)

2. The second event is our Annual General Meeting, will be held on the 13th January 2012. It's an annual event where the new committee is introduced to the club members.

Besides that, we will be sharing our key objectives and plans for next year. The current committee will also be reporting and concluding what we have done in the past year. So do keep your 13th January free! Refreshments will be provided.

Wishing all mentors the best for this new term!
Its a new beginning where you learn new and interesting facts as well as interact with new people!

YES! Mentoring camp was just over!
From 30 September to 2 October, mentors from all the different centers came together for THE MENTORING CAMP. Woohoo!

The GLs and Log Helpers came down a day earlier, let's see a lil of what they did to prep up for the camp!

THE ULTIMATE "SHEET" DOWN is another fun station game! xD Its where this big, huge trash bag is placed in the middle, two groups will queue up on both sides of the sheet, and when the GMs pull the sheet down, the front person of both sides will have to guess who that person sitting oppsite is and its a competition to see who says out the names the fastest! (Y)

You need some fast jaw and brain reflexes that game. :D Mentoring trains us both physically and mentally! (Y) 

Next game! SPLASH AND DUNK. And as the game name implies, its a WATER GAME! :D

Okay, here's the gameplay! First the group members will line up in a single line and they will have to pass water via plastic cups from the front person, to the end person! There is a required volume of water that must be collected! Anddd, its not as easy as how you think it should be. xD

 What is Poh Seng trying to do? D: We're suppose to pass the water, not drink!

FEAR FACTOR is the final station game! Who would have thought that we'd play with dried worms, and many other interesting ingredients? ;)

After the Station Games, we had the next big event of our Camp! 

CAPTURE THE FLAG was the most strategic game we had in Day 1 :D Yes, its another water game but this time, we get to play with...

 No we don't play with them, they are our GMs and Log Helpers! :D 

 YES WE PLAY WITH BOMB BAGS! ♥
